Lucas attended NECC in Norfolk, NE and got his associates degree in horticulture and golf course management. He then moved to lincoln, NE and was an assistant superintendent at Ashland Golf Club. He graduated from the University of Ne Lincoln with a bachelors of science in turf and landscape management. After graduating, Lucas spent the next 7 years of his career as superintendent at Poco Creek golf course in Aurora, Ne. Lucas moved to Arlington with his family in 2018 and worked at Shadow Ridge Country Club as an assistant superintendent before starting at FGC in August of 2019. Lucas and his wife, Samantha, have 3 boys- Maddox, Ian, & Brody.When he isn’t spending time with his family, Lucas enjoys golfing and being outdoors.
