Par 3
127 127 117 113Handicap 18/18

This is another short hole. This is a fairly large green for the short length
of the hole, but two big traps and OB guard it behind the green. There is also
a low area on the left side of the green leading to difficult recovery shots.
The green has high points on the front left and back left, but all in all this
is a chance for a birdie.

No. 16
Par 4353 340 320 232

Handicap 14/16

This hole is short and straightaway. The carry over the Rawhide Creek should
be no problem. Avoid the fairway bunker on the left and the trees on both
sides of the fairway. The green is very small and slopes significantly from
back to front. There is a hogback running down the middle of the green. Putts
from behind the hole are very fast.

No. 15
Par 5
510 470 443 431Handicap 4/4

This is a dogleg left around the other side of the pond. The driving area is
fairly wide if you avoid the pond and the trees on the right and through the
dogleg. The landing area for the second shot is very tight. The green is
long and narrow with bunkers on both sides. The green slopes from back to
front and is very fast near the front of the green.

No. 14
Par 4373 373 351 341

Handicap 12/6

This is a dogleg left around a large scenic pond on the left. The ideal drive
is a draw, usually with something less than a driver. Recovery from the trees
on the right is difficult. The second shot is to an elevated green that slopes
away from the player in the front and the left rear. The green generally
slopes left to right. Chips from left and long of the green are very difficult.

No. 13
Par 5
560 529 521 441Handicap 2/2

This is a long dogleg right. The tee shot is usually into the wind, making it
play longer. There is a large fairway bunker in the dogleg. Recovery shots
from the fairway bunker are difficult because they are partially blocked by
trees on the inside of the dogleg. An ideal tee shot is long and down the
middle. One then plays around the dogleg into a fairly wide landing zone for
the second shot. The third shot is difficult to a small elevated green with
many undulations. The green slopes left to right and the ball will roll off
the green to the right. Putting here can be very difficult.

No. 12
Par 4
438 438 416 343Handicap 6/8

This hole was redesigned in 1987. The green was rebuilt and moved back 50
yards. This is a long par 4 requiring a well hit tee shot. The second shot
will be to a two-tiered green with bunkers left and right. The upper tier is
very small and it is difficult to hit with the second shot. When putting from
behind the hole on the lower tier, putts can be much faster than you expect.

No. 11
Par 4
422 422 405 395Handicap 8/10

This is one of the longer par 4s. The pines and other trees on the left must
be avoided. The second shot is difficult to a slightly elevated green. It has
steep green banks on all sides so that shots missing the green will leave a
difficult chip. The green slopes generally from back to front and has a small
false front. There are bunkers to the right and a water hazard over the green.

No. 9
Par 4
402 384 364 352Handicap 5/5

This hole was also designated as a World Herald Hall of Fame Hole. You will
immediately notice the large elm tree in the middle of the fairway at the turn
of this dogleg left. From the back tee it is a carry of about 260 yards to
that tree. The second shot must carry Paden’s Pond in front of the green.
Shots over the green will find the Rawhide Creek. The green is wide and
shallow. It slopes from back to front.

No. 8
Par 5
534 517 483 468Handicap 1/1

From the back tee a shot played toward the fairway bunker with a draw is the
best play. You must also be careful of the trees on your second shot. The
green is protected by a bunker and is elevated and very undulating. Shots hit
to the right side of the green will roll off to the right and those hit to the
back left of the green will roll off to the left.. You must avoid the green
side bunker. You will find many difficult putts on this green.

No. 7
Par 4
317 317 302 252Handicap 13/15

This is a short one. If you are long enough, you can take it over the left
bunker toward the green. The carry is about 260 yards. Place your ball on
the same side of the hog back as the pin location. Chipping to this green
from anywhere but the front of the green is difficult. When the pin is
located in the front, be careful with your downhill putts. They tend to just
keep rolling.

No. 6
Par 4
418 392 355 343Handicap 7/7

This tough hole is a dogleg left. There is out-of-bounds on the right, but
you are dead if you are in the trees on the left. Except for the longest
drives, the fairway bunker is out of play. The green is well elevated and
well bunkered. Anything over the green leaves a very difficult lob back onto
the green.

No. 5
Par 4
395 395 316 311Handicap 9/11

Dense, mature trees line both sides of the fairway on this dogleg right. It
is better to miss to the left side than the right. On your second shot be
mindful of the two grass bunkers in front of the green. The green is large
and fairly flat, but take an extra look as you are reading the green because
it does have subtle breaks that are difficult to see.

No. 4
Par 3
203 180 172 143Handicap 15/13

You want to avoid the bunker on the left and be certain not to hit long over
the green. The bailout is in the front right, which leaves a relatively simple
uphill chip. The green slopes severely from back left to front right. Be very
careful on downhill puts.

No. 3
Par 4
408 408 388 374Handicap 3/3

This hole has been designated as a World Herald Hall of Fame Hole. Your drive
must be straight to avoid problems with the trees on both sides. The second
shot must negotiate the Rawhide Creek, which cuts in front of the green, and
avoid the bunker on the right of the green. There is significant slope running
from back to front near the back right and the front of the green. Be careful
with your downhill puts.

No. 2
Par 3
172 172 153 130Handicap 17/17

Check the wind direction and speed on your way to the second hole. Because of
the trees around the tee, you can’t judge either speed or direction. You want
to avoid the bunker on the front left. A shot hit to the right side of the
green must carry about 10 yards past the front of the green or it will roll
back down the slope leaving a difficult chip. The green is fairly flat with
some significant back right to front left slope in the back right of the green.

No. 1
Par 4
372 352 331 323Handicap 11/9

Try to put your tee shot down the right side of the fairway. The green opens
up from there. Watch out for the greenside bunkers on your second shot and,
whatever you do, you don’t want to be long where you will find at least a tough
chip and also bushes and out-of-bounds. The green slopes significantly from back
to front, particularly in the back right and in the front of the green.
